Family Support & Counselling
Counselling helps us review our present patterns, and find out what works and what doesn’t. Perhaps we need to revisit and renew old lessons we already know. We just do not know how to get there on our own, we need a new perspective, a clear unbiased view into our world.
With a counsellor we can discuss options and solutions that we hadn’t thought of or simply do not know how to get to alone. By education and coaching, counsellors can show us how to manage our anger and fear and communicate our needs more concisely, and help us rally for change.
Counselling helps us turn the spotlight first onto understanding ourselves and then onto the prosper of changing the things that we can change. We start to move away from feeling the victim and move more into the solution.
One of the best ways we can learn about ourselves is by remembering how and why we got to where we are, by remembering that the past opens our eyes to insights about the now. By integrating the story of our self, including our family and childhood we become more whole and integrated. By learning who and why we are, we then begin to work on who we would like to become.
Hourly counselling options are available. This could include private counselling, group/family counselling, grief counselling, sexual trauma counselling and more.
