Common Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Is an interventionist covered by MSP?

Usually not. Private intervention services are normally paid by the family. Some extended health plans cover counselling, so check your plan. Craig tells you the cost on the first call.

Can someone be forced into treatment in BC?

Only in limited cases under BC’s Mental Health Act, and that is decided by doctors. Most adults choose treatment themselves. An intervention helps them make that choice.

How fast can Craig get to me in BC?

For urgent cases Craig can usually start family preparation within 24–48 hours. Call 1-778-840-9351 and he will tell you how fast he can move.

I was struggling with alcohol addiction, and I was not willing to get help. He talked with my family, drove all the way from Vancouver Island to Kelowna to pick me up, sat with me and talked me into going to Together We Can for treatment. Because of him, I went.
