Fees

How do the fees work?

We do our best to provide industry leading services that are affordable so that families who are trying to cope with an addict are, provided a viable solution. We understand how difficult this time of your life is, so we’re ready to work with you to make the financial component as manageable as possible.

People who are struggling are worth helping and deserve help. So we also travel as inexpensively as possible, and book ourselves the most basic of accommodation.

For these reasons, the base rate for West Coast Interventions varies and is dependent on circumstance and location.

Initial Consult

Every process starts with a phone call or e-mail. Once you reach out to us, we’re ready to start helping immediately.

The initial consultation fee includes a conference call with as many individuals who will be involved with the intervention as possible. There is then a full day of guidance and education for the family where we discuss the processes involved and what everyone can expect.

We will then focus on boundaries and ultimatums, and how important they are in the process. We will then assist family members in creating and maintaining these boundaries. This is how the family gets healthy.

West Coast Interventions is renowned for their comprehensive aftercare planning. We will continue to support families well after the intervention has occurred, and guide you through the treatment process.

Although we have offices in Victoria and Vancouver, interventions are very fluid processes which require travel. We are willing to travel Canada-wide, and serve both male and female clients, and have connections with the top treatment centres across the country.

Transport Fees

Once your loved one has accepted treatment, we will then need to accompany them as they travel to the chosen recovery centre for intake.

Everyone will be filled with emotion at this point; often anger and confusion will start coming forward and the reality starts to set in. We recommend that you task us with the transport, and most families prefer it this way. The reason we highly recommend professional rather than family transport is that cold feet are a frequent occurrence. The individual heading to treatment may try and manipulate their family or change their mind abruptly. Fight or flight often kicks in.

However, the important part about the intervention process is that by this point, we have already started to form a trusting bond with our client. We will be able to share our own story of recovery, and will inevitably be able to talk them down from the potential crisis that is occurring.

They’ll be able to relate to us, as we have literally been down this exact path. They’ll be able to see that not only have we been able to overcome our struggles, but we’re now in a place where we’re able to help others.

The Interventionist is not emotionally attached to your loved one. This is business, and we are in the business of saving their life. We will be able to remain calm, focused on the mission, and stay in the moment.

Our sole purpose is to keep our client safe and get them the help they need. We have worked with hundreds of alcoholics and addicts in this exact position and are able to manage any variable that may arise.

Counselling Services

In addition to the intervention, we recommend that both the individual famalies explore counselling.

We have experience treating every addiction in Canada.
